Distribution Supervisor
Coordinate warehouse operations including, receiving, selection, truck loading and shipping, assigning DC work and verifying completion.
Insure that the daily work schedule is completed according to business productivity requirements and guidelines as provided by the site Manager.
Insure that proper inventory procedures are followed.
Monitor and verify accuracy of time and attendance reports.
Perform load build and order pick/put-a- way as required.

o Achieve OSHA Recordable Incident Rate (ORIR) department goals.
Product Quality Meet AFC Quality Standards Schedule Compliance and Goals Achieve Perfect Order Rate ( POR) Minimize overtime Meet or exceed AFC Standards for departmental KPI's Coordinate shipping requirements with carriers to meet on time departures.
Arrange pick-ups, transfers, and special deliveries with core carriers as required to ensure timely delivery of orders.
5-S/Lean Utilize Lean and other contemporary manufacturing tools and techniques.
Maintain general upkeep of warehouse and operating equipment.
Employee/Labor Relations Ensure excellent communication avenue exists with employees.
Manage schedules for vacation and absentee coverage.
Build effective teams.
Financial Scope:
Responsible for between 5 and 10 million dollars of product Direct reports:
None Frequent interaction with Internal:
Production Control, Maintenance, Engineering, HR, Operations, Sales External:
Carrier truck drivers
Qualifications Education:
Minimum of a High School diploma, College degree is preferred.
Work
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years warehouse supervision experience is required.
Industry experience is desired Experience in a union environment is a plus.
Skills required:
Computer literate, common math and analytical ability, command and control Travel requirements:
None MOST IMPORTANT SUCCESS FACTORS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED Ability to hold members to a standard of performance.
Ability to work with peers within the department.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
