Clinician/Therapist
Under supervision of the Director of Clinical Services, the Clinician/Therapist will develop and supervise the implementation of behavioral support/treatment plans, attend meetings, and provide technical assistance as needed. The position requires proficiency with the delivery of therapeutic services and supports to individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities within their natural environments using a behavioral treatment approach. Must be able to effectively collaborate and communicate with administrative and clinical staff, the residential program, and participating providers/organizations. Maintains compliance with Department of Developmental Services (DDS) regulations, and will support/train staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Master's degree, preferably in counseling, psychology, behavior analysis, special education, social work, or a related field. Requires professional licensure (e.g., LMHC, LICSW, BCBA, psychologist). BCBA (or interest in pursuing the BCBA credential) and/or professional training and experience in acquired brain injury and/or positive behavior support (PBS) preferred.
Supervised training and experience delivering comprehensive therapeutic services and supports to individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities within their natural environments, including cognitive behavioral therapy, anger management training, social skills training, conducting functional behavior assessments and designing/implementing/monitoring behavior support/treatment plans. Experience implementing positive behavior support strategies and/or providing treatment to individuals with co-occurring mental health diagnoses preferred.
Demonstrated skills in a variety of observation and data collection techniques; behavioral assessment and intervention techniques; proficiency with competency-based training and coaching.
