Storti Quality Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Coordinator to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing construction activities at our Liquid Natural Gas facility located in South Eastern Massachusetts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and commercial construction, along with exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Local candidates are preferred, travel to local offices and facilities required.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee construction activities at our client's Liquid Natural Gas facility.
Review project plans and specifications to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Supervise and manage construction crews and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
Monitor project progress and identify and resolve any construction issues that may arise.
Implement and enforce site safety practices and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily job reports, budgets, and invoices.
Liaise with engineers, architects, client representatives, building officials, and other industry professionals to ensure project success.
Collaborate with clients to review job progress and address any outstanding issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction coordination or related role.
Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and regulations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software such as Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.
Massachusetts Driver's License required.
CPR certification preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
