We are searching for a Hearing Screen- Birth Registrar to perform a variety of duties including but not limited to administer universal hearing screenings as part of the routine newborn care, document results of these screenings, etc.
Assist in compiling database of all screening results and enter all screening results into Electronic Birth Certificate (EBC) and update EBC as needed.
Responsible for the coordination of the per diem hearing screeners taking into consideration weekend, vacation, holiday coverage and sick calls.
Functional and technical supervision of per diem Audiology Technicians where the scope of responsibility is limited to guidance, training and scheduling.

Day Shift; must be available to work 48 hours per 6 weeks and 2 weekend shifts per 6 weeks Location:

Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA Education and/or Experience Requirements:
An Associate's Degree in Communication Disorders or related field or the equivalent knowledge or experience is preferred.
A minimum of two years' related work experience and a minimum of one year of clinical experience in Audiology are preferred.
Clinical experience working with infants and their families is also preferred.
Must obtain notary of the public certification before starting position.
