ABA Paraprofessional Bay Coast Behavioral - New Bedford, MA - Starting pay $20 to $26 an hour for Full-time or Part-time - The Position:

With flexible hours, competitive starting pay, educational reimbursement and a cohesive family-like work environment, this full or part-time position for an Applied Behavioral Analysis Paraprofessional (ABA) will be part of an In-Home Behavioral Services Program and work under a Licensed Analyst.
The ABA Paraprofessional works under the direct supervision of a Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (BCBA/LABA).
The Para will reinforce the treatment plan created by the LABA, monitoring the youth's behavior, reporting to the LABA on the implementation of the treatment plan and progress toward objectives or performance goals.
As an ABA you will be responsible for adhering to professional and legal requirements and principles as well as demonstrating sound professional judgment at all times and for ensuring that each client receives the best career program standards.

Requirements:
Must be 18 years old, must have High School Diploma/ GED and have 12 months of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities; Or an associate's degree in human, social, or educational services discipline or a degree or certification related to behavior management with 6 months working with a person with developmental disabilities.
Bilingual - Must have oral and written fluency in English AND either Portuguese, Spanish or other languages.
Job Duties:
Monitor the youth's progress on implementation of the goals of the treatment plan developed by the BCBA/LABA Provide coaching, support, and guidance to the caregivers in implementing the plan Work closely with the BCBA/LABA to ensure the treatment plan and risk management/safety plan is implemented as developed.
Directly implements skill- acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by the BCBA/LABA This position requires some evening hours.
