Essentially, our ideal candidate will ensure all transactions operate smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction for both our Retail Market and Kitchen.
RESPONSIBILITIES Scan items, itemize and total customers' purchases Collects payments by accepting cash, card, check, electronic or EBT Accurately make change for those paying by cash and issue receipts Write out gift cards when asked Handwrite kitchen slips from customers in-person or over the phone Communicate with back-of-house staff Serve beer and wine/serve customers their food (on occasion) Greet customers entering and leaving the store Resolve customer issues, answer questions and provide relevant info Maintain clean, organized and dry checkout areas DoorDash Summer Patio Outdoor Dining Responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales Previous restaurant experience (preferred) Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS Basic math skills Work in a fast-paced environment during busy times Able to stand for an extended period of time Customer satisfaction-oriented with a positive attitude Excellent communication and time management skills Job Type:
