Under the general supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, the Practitioner will responsible for:
oCompassionate and Comprehensive outpatient primary care services including but not limited to well and sick visitsoProviding immunizations, STI and common infections treatment and educationoDiagnosing patient injury/illness and provide appropriate treatment and educationoManaging complex medical issues within the scope of internal medicine practicesoReviewing medical histories, interpreting diagnostic tests and labsoMonitoring and ensuring patient satisfaction oFacilitating appropriate utilization of the healthcare system and encourage appropriate follow-up careRequired Education:
oCurrent and unrestricted Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant License oActive DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration oBoard Certification:
Adult, Family Medicine or Geriatric oCurrent BLS/CPR Certification Other Skills &
Qualifications:
oExperience in community and public health oComfortable with supporting LGBTQ
population as well as individuals with substance abuse disorders (OBAT) oCommitment and interest in working with multi-cultural and impoverished populationsoPrimary or Secondary language skills in:
Portuguese or Spanish (not required) Opportunity Highlights:
