We are searching for an RN Nurse Manager of Patient Care for the Emergency Dept Under general direction of the Director, Associate Chief Nursing Officer and Site Administrator or designee, provide 24 hours leadership for clinical nursing practice of all ages or individually assigned units.
Responsible for supervising assigned patient care staff, allocation of assigned staff and material resources to effect quality patient care outcome.
Duties include direct supervisory responsibility of a unit or department, where work performed is generally highly standardized and noncomplex.
This level may also apply to positions involving responsibility for direct supervision over large and/or technical sections of major organization segments.
Duties involve direct supervisory responsibility for up to and including 100 FTE's.

Our trauma center is the first of its kind in the region.
Our RNs have access to new technologies, professional development resources, and an engaged leadership team.
We partner with pediatricians from Boston Children's Hospital to provide specialized care in the emergency room and pediatric unit.

40 Hours Education and/or Experience Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
BLS Certification is required.
A minimum of five (5) years related work experience and three (3) years supervisory experience is required.
Leadership experience in related field preferred.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 and provide required vaccination documentation, unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
